Dispute resolution

The European Commission’s online dispute resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 and is no longer operational; this notice accordingly does not link to it. Pursuant to Section 36 of the German Act on Alternative Dispute Resolution in Consumer Matters (Verbraucherstreitbeilegungsgesetz, VSBG), we are not obliged to participate, and are not willing to participate, in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (Verbraucherschlichtungsstelle).

We are not obliged, however, to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information, or to investigate circumstances indicating unlawful activity (Sections 8–10 DDG). Obligations to remove or block the use of information under general law remain unaffected. Any liability in this regard, however, is only possible from the point in time at which we become aware of a specific infringement.
